Wild Pony is the creative collaboration of long-time friends Rachel Sandison and Dee Francis.
Having studied at the iconic London College of Fashion, Dee’s design aesthetic started early on, whilst Rachel’s degree in Design at the College of Fine Arts UNSW set her on the path of a successful event agency, ARC3D.
In 2010, Dee and Rachel embarked upon designing the Wild Pony brand – affordable, comfortable and glamorous swimwear resulting in their 15 piece Spring/Summer 2011 debut collection ‘Martini’s at Sunset’.
Holding 1970’s glamour as Wild Pony’s key inspiration, the collection houses strapless bikinis with moulded cups discreetly sewn into the lining, one-piece halter necks with scoop backs and flattering string bikinis to accentuate the bust all in luxurious and comfortable fabrications designed in ‘feel good’ silhouettes.
Each piece is embellished with a Horse Shoe and the Wing of Pegusus charms symbolising good luck and freedom of spirit to each of its wearers.
Beach Kimonos compliment the range and act as the perfect flattering beach cover up.
With a nod to Marie Helvin and Jerry Hall, the brand’s sophisticated, classic aesthetic creates a bold feel in shape and texture and is set to be a must-have for modern women everywhere!
