This illustration was created using a combination of mediums including ink, pen, Derwent pencils and water colours. The purpose of the drawing was to illustrate my evening wear designs on the human form and to present a visual interpretation of my intended customer.

Influenced by Art Nouveau, the arts and craft movement that dominated the worlds designs between 1890 and 1910. The ‘New Style’ embodied the power of the line and was characterised by its sinuous flowing lines and plant forms.
