So many people with amazing jobs still try to claim that their work’s not all it’s cracked up to be. It’s so refreshing then to meet someone like Robbie, who realises just how lucky he is to be Insight’s Senior Menswear Designer. Not lucky because he fluked it (he most definitely didn’t), but lucky because it’s a job that lets him combine about as many of his loves as any job’s ever likely to combine.

Where else would he get to flex his design creativity across a canvas of over a 150 garments each season along with the art direction, glaze his knowledge on these collections at global release’s, to play music and woo crowds at many of Insight’s global garage parties/exhibitions in Sydney, Tokyo, LA, France, Hong Kong……..every few months and surf some of the best breaks in the world,  and still find time to make music with his best mate whenever he feels the urge.

Yep, life’s pretty sweet for Rob. A little too sweet, come to think of it. Maybe that’s why most people with amazing jobs are so pessimistic about them – because they know if other people were to find out how much fun they were having, they’d probably start plotting their downfall. Damn straight, they would. You’ve had it too good for too long, Rob. Let the plotting begin!



Mens/Womens/Accessories Designer and In-house Artist

Trying to balance ones life is what many seek to achieve, however not for Jodia. His definition of balance is to maintain each of his creative elements ensuring no juice is put to waste. He likes to think of himself as a full-time collaborator. Put him with some good company and there’s no telling what will happen. All that can be said is….

With one hand designing both mens and womens accessories, whilst also conceptualizing the mens clothing range with his best buddy, the other hand is throwing together prints and graphics. At the same time both eyes are styling photo shoots while the heart maintains its love for his kidswear label, never neglecting his mind and mouth which are always rhyming infectious flows and melodies…and his feet, well they have to keep up with his pace.

Jodia insists he doesn’t believe in luck. Just take a look at the simple, yet eye appealing aesthetics and note his humble nature and come up with your own conclusion.
