Leah Madden, the founder and creator of White Sands Australia has always been a beach girl at heart. Growing up on Queensland’s Gold Coast, the unique region is an all year playground with its pristine beaches, stunning resorts and plenty of sunshine. This talented Australian has a history in fashion and has previously been a finalist in the Australian Fashion Design Awards for women’s wear. It seemed a natural progression that Leah would eventually design swimwear.

Leah has not only drawn inspiration for her swimwear from the beaches of Australia, but around the world. The designer has travelled extensively, visiting some of the finest beaches in the world and keeping abreast with world-wide fashion trends, specifically in swimwear and resort wear.

Inspiration for her collection is drawn from her passion to offer high fashion swimwear, perfect for sitting by a pool sipping a cocktail, allowing ladies to exude style, confidence, affluence and sophistication.

Leah’s entrepreneurial ability, business acumen and professional approach to achieving one’s goals and to strive for perfection, will ensure that White Sands Australia will be a national and international success. SWIM Fashion Week being held at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast will also provide the perfect platform to release Leah’s swimwear label, White Sands Australia.
