Melissa Barrass
Melissa Barrass, better known as ‘Mellie’ is a spontaneous kawaii kid from Sydney who has been blogging fashion since early 2009. She currently interns for Manning Cartell and has been no stranger to the Australian fashion industry, attending and volunteering for almost every fashion event held in Sydney over the past year. Mellie thoroughly enjoys a vodka in Kings Cross after a hard week of study as a design student at COFA, and is an absolute sucker for travel and indulging in culture. Due to her love affair with op shopping, the wardrobe mainly consists of mini smock dresses, lot’s of khaki, black, leopard print and camel, vintage and androgynous pieces. Mellie’s style resembles that of an angsty young teen boy from the 90′s (think Kurt Cobain or a young Daniel Johns) and her favourite Australian designers are Chronicles of Never, Lover and Dion Lee.
